Our History

Casa Xodó was born from the desire to create a place where the beauty of Buzios meets the tranquility of feeling at home.

With a privileged location, views of the sea and only seven accommodations, the house preserves the charm of an intimate retreat, where every detail has been carefully thought out to provide comfort, privacy, and well-being.

The name Xodó translates exactly what we want to convey. It is a Brazilian word full of meaning, representing affection, care and something that we keep with special care.

Rather than just providing accommodation, we want every guest to discover their own pace, enjoy the natural beauty of Buzios, and take good memories with them.

The choice of the location began with the tropical landscape and the coastal light of Búzios. Integrating Mediterranean architecture with Brazilian vegetation was the starting point, seeking to make the house seem like it has always been there.

Each of the seven accommodations receives handcrafted attention, designed for only a few guests at a time. The goal is to offer comfort and simplicity, with a calm pace for those who arrive to rest and enjoy the days in a relaxed way.
